Griffiths & Armour is celebrating 80-years as insurance brokers. We would like to thank all those who have contributed to our success and in particular the hard work and dedication of our team, who are the foundations of the firm.
We have grown from humble beginnings when Mr Kenneth Griffiths and Mr George Armour set up their plate back on 1st October 1934. Today, we continue as a partnership, with a wonderful and growing family of clients who value our supportive advice, provided with a truly global perspective. Griffiths & Armour appreciate that we foster collaborative client engagement and we have enjoyed seeing many client firms successfully grow and develop, a significant number of whom we have counted as clients and friends for over 60-years.
We have been celebrating in the run up to the anniversary, with our team enjoying a mid-morning coffee break, reputedly typical of the 1930’s, on Friday 26th September at OhMeOhMy. This was followed that evening with our 1930's themed 80th party at the Liverpool Town Hall. We will also be celebrating today’s anniversary (after hour’s!) with a Bellini and nibbles in the office.
Throughout our history Griffiths & Armour have had strong charitable associations and this continues through our plans for the 80th anniversary - we aim to raise £80,0000 between our two chosen charities KIND and Prostate Cancer. We are already half way to reaching our target, and with challenges planned for the remainder of this anniversary year, we certainly expect to reach the target.
Our sincere thanks goes to those who have already been baking, running, cycling, walking and to those clients and partners who have made corporate donations to help us reach the total to date.
