During this time we have been fortunate enough to have had opportunity to establish many positive relationships, partnerships and friendships as a result of our involvement. We have met some amazing and talented architectural practices, many of which we have seen grow and evolve, so it seems most fitting that in 2016 we should sponsor the Fastest Growing Practice Award. Each year the award proceedings seem to get more impressive, and this year’s event was no exception. Held at the Tower of London on 8th June, the awards span a range of categories; from Business Breakthrough of the year through to Practice of the Year. ![A list of the awards](https://news.griffithsandarmour.com/hubfs/GriffithsArmourApril2016_Theme/Image/AJ100-Awards-List-2016.jpg) With the recent passing of one of the most pioneering architects of our time, Zaha Hadid, this year’s event was particularly poignant and provided an opportunity for peers to pay tribute and celebrate the incredible achievements of her professional career. As the AJ so eloquently commented: ‘More than 1,700 employees were asked to select one person to be recognised for their services to architecture… The vote was taken before her sudden death in March… and Zaha Hadid was the uncontested winner’. Zaha clearly leaves behind a strong practice, who were the worthy recipients of the Fastest Growing Practice Award. Paul Berg presented the award on behalf of Griffiths & Armour to Jim Heverin and Sara Klomps, which marks not only the firm’s achievements to date but also signals the shape of things to come. Once again the AJ100 Awards was a tremendous success and we were thrilled to sponsor the awards and to be a part of another fantastic event.
